Naomi has worked in arts management for over twelve years. Her key skills are project management, human resources and evaluation with a strong background in the visual arts. Naomi is also a trustee of On Site Arts, an artist led project working with socially excluded groups, currently working with Gypsies and Travellers in the Lea Valley area. Naomi provides specific expertise in fundraising and project management including project planning and evaluation. As a founder of Artrain, an international disability arts development project, Naomi established and managed an arts development programme in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and is currently developing work with the Downs Syndrome Association of Nigeria. This new project will involve training for local artists and capacity building for the organisation. Prior to joining Redfront, Naomi was Director of Action Space, London’s leading visual arts organisation for people with learning disabilities. Responsible for raising and managing an annual budget of £180,000, Naomi also managed up to 15 projects a year across London. This involved the management of a team of freelance artists, development of project partnerships and monitoring and evaluation of the programme. |
